Complaining

When I started looking inward for my solutions I realized that "complaining" was my immature way of saying "I don't know what to do to fix this problem for myself".

The empowering solution?

Lie in learning to look for what I could do to set things right for myself instead of what I wanted others to do to make things right FOR me.

In my life the most important thing I have learned is that there is no "better life than my own", In the sense that everyone on this planet is on a spiritual journey and the abuse was a terrible thing to go through BUT the most beautiful thing In the world is finding oneself, one's inner child again and liberating myself so the process of having had to heal to do that was worth the infinite beauty that I have found in myself. Our extreme cases of abuse are spiritual gifts to ourselves to uncover and know ourselves better than those who did not endure such extreme circumstances. My heart is so full now as it was when I was a child. If I did not have to go through this process of rediscovery I would be leading a mundane life.

If we hit a bump I the road and are complaining it is almost invariably linked, I believe, to comparing our lives to another's and believing that the grass is greener when it isn't. Your journey is your journey no journey is any better or worse than another's.

I also feel that Goodness chooses those angels who will endure cruelty to give the gift of discovering ourselves through healing the cruelty done to us. I believe that everyone of us who Loves our self enough to heal the terrible wounds inflicted upon us, those who will never abandon our self will find the beauty in the end I know I have.
There is also a gift of knowing what is right for us and when we need to find a situation more in tune with ourselves like needing to live in a more peaceful setting, closer to Nature or needing to move on to different work. Love and Light,
