I Believed

My version of the Patrick Overton poem...

I Believed

When I came to the edge of all the light that I had and I had to take a step into the darkness of the unknown, I truly believed that one of two things would happen to me; either there would be something to stand on, or, I would be taught how to fly.

And as I stood at the edge of that mountain, trembling in fear, tears streaming down my face, I leaned into the wind…and began to soar. ~Susan 2010

Beautiful to believe in ourselves and our abilities.

That gave me chills. It's beautiful. (I'll include it next Friday's list of very cool things, if that's okay.)
