Even the greatest suffered...

Great people who have done great things did not have to be perfect before they could do great things. Van Gough cut off his ear and quite often great artists have been thought to be "unbalanced" or "mad" in their creativity.

Lincoln was chronically depressed, in fact 50% of U.S. Presidents have experienced "mental health" issues...so, don't wait to be your best to live your best life. You already are. ~ Susan

I accept no label other than "human". ~Gianna Kali

It is possible to conquer the past and create the future; the first step is choosing to take the journey. ~Michele Rosenthal

My Version of the poem by Patrick Overton

When I came to the edge of all the light that I had and I had to take a step into the darkness of the unknown, I truly believed that one of two things would happen to me; either there would be something to stand on, or, I would be taught how to fly.

And as I stood at the edge of that mountain, trembling in fear, tears streaming down my face, I leaned into the wind...

and began to soar.
